Cradle Moon Lake is a spectacular 32 hectare water reserve home to numerous species of fish, birds, reptiles and many more!

The clean water of the Crocodile River ensures the lake lends itself to be the best open water swimming venue in Gauteng.

Along with the swimmers, paddlers and rowers regularly frequent the lake for training purposes.

Cradle Moon is designed to host large lifestyle and recreational events. The canoeing champs will be hosted from The Current, a new stylish entertainment deck with a large entertainment deck and seating capacity of 120 pax.

There are several other restaurants and bars within Cradle Moon, including a 350 seater traditional restaurant offering a la carte from 7am to 9pm daily.

Accommodation is available at Cradle Moon at a discounted rate for the 2019 championships. Please see accommodation options for more details.

Nestled below the Swartkop Mountain range and Lake Heritage, Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge, is one of Gauteng's best kept tourist attractions.

The Lodge and facilities are set in tranquil indigenous African Bushveld that offers local and international guests a unique African experience.

The giraffe, zebra and springbok that roam the grounds freely add to the African feel of Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge.
